The International tourist eco-ethno fair “Sounds, test and smells of tradition” was organized in Bijeljina, Bosna and Herzegovina and in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia. The Fair gathered exhibitors from cities and municipalities of the cross-border region “Drina-Sava”, who presented their rural tourism offer and wide assortment of domestic products, such as traditional food, wine, brandy, traditional home-made cheese, honey and honey products, traditionally prepared winter store products, herbs, natural creams and ointments, as well as handmade unique regional souvenirs.
Round tables in both cities were organized as parallel events to the Fairs. The round tables focused on increasing tourist turnover in the region, where Fair exhibitors, representatives of local governments and local tourist organizations had the opportunity to discus and exchange experiences. At the same time, local touristic agencies will present their offers, capacities, attractive and interesting sites around the region and specific offer of the communities they come from.
